The installation is a genre of contemporary art that incorporates various types of media to create a visceral or conceptual experience in a particular environment.
For me, that I see art in everyday things, one of the most appalling installations and well achieved, is NYC, created for years by thousands of artists, who have managed to convey the concept of haste, the majesty, modern life, coexistence and various human realities that moves on a pavement that is always under repair.
Walking the streets of NYC makes you an artist, the main character of stories that happen one after another around you.
NYC is orange, is art in its window displays, restaurants, buildings, people, and in its smells. In the taxis, the subway, the park, and in everything, everything that happens there, a unique experience that lasts seconds before being replaced by another and another and another.
Few people remain indifferent to this city, much less can close their eyes to the opulence, the homeless, the guy with a suit and tie, the lady who reads, the Chinese, the Dominican, the fantasy, the music, the posters, the skatings, the guy who makes cartoons, Which walking his dog, which sells hot dogs on the street, which taking photos or the mass of humanity that walks quickly towards the north or south, Who cares!

La instalación artística es un género de arte contemporaneo, que incorpora diferentes medios para crear una experiencia visceral o conceptual en un ambiente determinado.
Para mi, que veo el arte en las cosas cotidianas, una de las instalaciones más sobrecogedoras y bien logradas, es NYC, creada durante años y años por miles de artistas, que han sabido transmitir el concepto de la prisa, la majestuosidad, del hombre moderno, de la coexistencia y de diversas realidades humanas que se mueven sobre un pavimento que siempre está en reparación.
Caminar por las calles de NYC te hace espectador y al mismo tiempo artista, protagonista de historias que pasan una tras otra a tu alrededor y que acompañan las tuyas propias.
NYC es naranja, es arte en sus vitrinas, restaurantes, edificios, taxis, el subway, el parque, la gente, los olores y todo, todo lo que allí acontece, una experiencia irrepetible que dura segundos antes de ser sustituida por otra, por otra y por otra.
Poca gente queda indiferente ante esta ciudad instalación y mucho menos puede cerrar sus ojos ante la opulencia, el homeless, el tipo con saco y corbata, la que pasea a su perro, el que lee, el chino, el dominicanao, la fantasía, los musicales, los afiches, la que patina, el que hace caricaturas, el que vende hot dogs en la calle, el que toma fotos o la masa humana que camina de prisa hacia el norte o el sur, Who cares!
Sin lugar a dudas, I love NY!
